Clay panels for interior construction
The many advantages of clay in civil engineering have been recognised for centuries. The building material manufacturer Hart Keramik AG has succeeded in helping the material to achieve a renaissance in interior construction through the development of the Lemix clay panels as an alternative to plasterboard. After several years of technical development, the product can now be manufactured in an industrial process with a high degree of accuracy and requires only thin layers of plaster. The panels find increasing acceptance in the areas of drywall construction as well as timber and prefabricated house construction and are equally popular in new construction and in the refurbishment of old buildings. They are non-flammable, fully recyclable and ensure all the positive health benefits of natural clay. Some time ago, the Lemix clay plate was awarded the "natureplus" environmental seal of approval. It will be showcased by Hart Keramik together with other products at BAU 2019 in hall A3, booth 121.
